The Taco-Hotdog House Card ( or How to Make an Explosion Card )

Had fun making this birthday card for Jasper. Dinosaurs never go out of style/favor with little boys. I was glad that I had a stash of this StampinUp! paper to  use .

Recently learned how to make an Explosion card, which is a fancy fold card. I think this is a cool card to make for kids, so I went for it !

How I made it:
  • Found some large envelopes so just made the card to fit that
  • Fold a piece of card stock 8 1/2 X 11 in half (used StampinUp! misty moonlight) as your base
  • For the inside - explosion , folded according to the directions using old StampinUp! Dinosaurs dsp that measured 8 X 8 squared
  • Cut white card stock to match the two outer pentagons for the sentiment and to write message on the inside
  • Images were fussy cut from sheets of the same dsp and were attached to the inside with glue, on the outside with dimensionals

The TACO -TACO -HOTDOG -HOUSE -HOUSE REDO story. It's so silly but it helps to make a cute explosion card.
In the video around 17:00 is where she begins with the story demonstration:
